From GM Performance - The centerforce dual friction clutch represents a major design improvement in clutch and pressure plate assemblies, offering both ease of operation and high-performance characteristics. A specially engineered system of weights attached to the diaphragm spring keeps the diaphragm from sticking over center at higher RPM shifts, interlocks diaphragm spring fingers for a more positive, faster engagement and increases clamp load pressure as the engine RPM increases. These heavy duty off-road clutch kits includes the disc and pressure plate. Technical Note: This unit includes both the clutch cover and disc (10.4 inch) with 10 tooth spline design.
