RAM Powergrip clutches are ideal for newer and older muscle cars that are predominately street driven, but may see the track once or twice a year. Powergrip is also a great option for increased service life in commercial and off road vehicles. Each Powergrip set contains an oem or better pressure plate, Powergrip clutch disc, release bearing, and alignment tool. Disc friction materials may vary within applications between Kevlar composite, metallic, or premium organic. Because the Powergrip disc provides increased holding power by using a higher coefficient of friction material, some chatter may occur. Powergrip clutches are covered by a 1 year/12,000 mile limited warranty in stock passenger cars and a 30 day warranty when installed in modified, off-road, or commercial vehicles. The flywheel must be resurfaced when installing the clutch set to validate the warranty.
